The first problem was several months prior, and I only recently took it to a computer recycling place, so it's too late to document that one with another photo. Two screws on the inside of the case and two of them on the outside. Also, how on Earth could Antec get constantly high grades at reviews?? I thought I would need more power when I got my prescott and 6800 so I got a bigger PSU. My supplier has been very good at replacing the failed supplies, so other than the inconvenience, it has not been a big deal. this is exactly how it started last time just seems to be taking longer for psu to totally crap out . The power supply that will replace the SL220 is the MT300.

I never had a floppy to FDISK the drive but you can do it from Windows. and plugging the 320 GB and 1 TB hard drives to the PCI card.

I am not an overclocker and apart from running 24/7 this machine did not get a lot of stress. I am very very disappointed and am now attempting to return these two devices.
I have now changed to a 300W Fortran/Source PSU that I had in another computer and it works just fine and the voltages are normal values. All rights reserved. The 12V read back seems to be bouncing around a bit also. Maybe your hard disk is properly connected and works well, but if it doesn't have a letter by its name, you won't be able to access it from This PC. I had to do 2 things to get my SATA drives recognized by Windows: 1-Enable SATA on the mobo: If your system isn't recognizing SATA drives, it may be a jumper I'm just so glad it's a reasonably cheap component to replace. Was looking at the MSI k7n2 Delta-2 Platinum, what do you guys think? Reboot.
I don't know which one is Primary sata port and Secondary/slave port. Replacing that part is not as difficult for most people as you seem to believe. Nothing is being sent to the monitor because the light stays amber. find this I suspect many people simply don't have the capability to truly determine what is wrong with their PCs.
The monitor loses video signal and it's obvious something has shut down because it stops responding to any keypresses. Many thanks to you for posting your page on the subject, well done. At this point, I'm not sure what to look at next. Every so often, the system will sorta shut down.

There is a 3-pin jumper directly above the 2 sata ports on the a7n8x mobo: make sure the jumper is covering the left 2 pins, leaving the rightmost pin empty/blank/uncovered. I want it to recognized just as two individual SATA Hard Drives configured as Primary Master(320 GB) and Slave (1 TB).Questions...1.
